Someone wrote this in Facebook:

"Do I work ? Yes, I am a Mom! That makes me an alarm clock, cook, maid, a doctor, fashion adviser, waitress, teacher, nanny, nurse, handyman, security officer, photographer, counselor, a lifelong student, an event planner, a personal assistant, an ATM, & a comforter. I don't get holidays, sick pay or day's off. I work through the DAY & NIGHT. I am on call every hour for the rest of my life. post if you're a proud mom :)"

OK...there is nothing wrong being a fulltime mom/housewife/homemaker.  If you are giving your best, you are an AWESOME mom/wife/spouse/significant other!  You should be proud.  Who cares what others say about not having a job.  Working for a company can be good but can also be so bad.  If you are the person who loves your job, then that is great!  However, being a mother is still the primary job.  I would not call it a 'job'.....it is a responsibility, gift, and also privilege.

I personally would have a hard time being a fulltime mom.  I have been working ever since I am out of high school.  School fulltime and work almost fulltime until I got my bachelor's degree.  Then started my job right after graduation...no break.  Took maternity leaves for both of my boys and continue working until now.

I do love my job, of course it's not always fun fun fun...there are ups and downs.  Just the basic of life cycle.  But when it comes to my children, they are my number 1 priority.  If I can not be there when they need me, I make sure my great wonderful husband (their awesome daddy) is there for them.  I also have wonderful family/relatives and friends who give me tremendously great support.

So ladies who are also the loving mothers...YOU ROCK!

September 11, 2001...getting ready to go to LAX for a trip back to Boise from Orange County, CA.

Shocking news about the twin towers.

Cruel unhumane act of monsters.  How could human do such a horrible thing?  May the victims rest in peace.  For the victims families, hope they carry great memories to share about.

Has anyone seen what the ground zero site looked like this ev... on Twitpic

Why arent's teachers making a lot of money?  It is the most essential element in everybody's life.  It is for the future.

Now, they want to replace them with online teaching...*sigh.  Stop building roads and put the money on the education.

May this year is full of success and happiness.

Lots of dreams and goals to achieve.  Timo will go to kindergarten and Jojo goes to 4th grade!

Work hard, study hard, and play hard!

What do you think about this bike, Raleigh Venture 3.0?  I might get this soon.

The lesbians next door asked my friend what he would like for his birthday?
He was quite surprised when they gave him a Rolex.
It was very nice of them, but he thinks they misunderstood him when he said
he wanna watch.

I have been searching for the right koi fish painting for my living room/family room wall.

Koi fish painting brings good feng shui to every house.

"Koi" means affection or love in Japanese.  Koi fish also symbolizes the powerful and energetic life force to swim against the currents and travel upstream.

In Feng Shui, koi fish represents auspicious (fortunate) and attracts prosperity and abundance.

I haven't found a good size for my wall yet.  I am looking around 3 meter x 2 meter. Is that too big?

I will update as soon as I find the one.

Kölner Dom, Cologne Cathedral

Week 2 of work is over.  Time for a weekend.  Since Le Mans was not in a plan anymore, I decided to go to somewhere close by.  Either Belgium or Germany...and Köln was the best suggestion.  It only takes 1.5 hours to get there.

Invited Derek to come along since he's never been there either.  He hesitated at first but then he changed his mind.  Yes!!!  I am going to Germany!!!

Picked him up at 8:00 on Saturday morning.  I drove my car and off we went...

My Dutch bikeHighlight for today is my bike purchase.

Woke up at 5am, as usual, called home and Skyped with Engga, Jojo, and Timo.  Went back to sleep, waited for 11am.  That's the time to meet my bike.  Woke up around 9am and decided to swim.  Went swimming...it was just opened, no one was there.  I just enjoyed my moment swimming around the pool by myself, followed by a sauna.  Back to my apartment, got ready to go to Derek's hotel...he's driving me there so I could ride it back if I liked it.

bikesMay 29, 2010...that's when I departed from Boise for a job related trip to Holland.  Had breakfast at IHOP with the family, including Daniel-bro.  On the way to the airport, Jojo and Timo sang the song 'You Are My Sunshine' of their version...You Are My Mommy.

You are my mommy, my only mommy...You make me happy when skies are grey...You never know dear, how much I love you....Please don't take my mommy away.

What a tough feeling to leave.  I miss them so much.
